How to design your own engagement ring
An engagement ring should feel like yours before it ever reaches your hand. De Leoni's online ring creator gives your ideas a starting point, with the atelier there to refine the details. Create a custom engagement ring from wherever you are in Australia, then begin a conversation about bringing it to life.

Choose your setting
Begin with the setting and proportions that feel right to you. Consider the profile, how the ring will sit on your hand and the details you will notice every day.

Select your diamond and gold
Explore the diamonds and metal finishes available in the creator. Balance the stone's shape and carat weight with the setting, rather than choosing size alone.

Send your design to the atelier
Use Inquire Design to share your selection with De Leoni. We will discuss the details, stone availability, ring size, price and timing with you before your order is confirmed.
The stone
Natural or lab grown diamonds
Both natural and lab grown diamonds have a place in the De Leoni atelier. Lab grown diamonds share the chemical composition and crystal structure of natural diamonds; their origin is different. Your choice comes down to what matters to you, your preferred proportions and the budget you have in mind.
Shape, cut, colour and clarity all deserve consideration alongside carat weight. We can guide you through stone selection and independent certification, and confirm availability for your design.

Gold, chosen for your ring
Choose the warmth of yellow gold, the soft tone of rose gold or the clean finish of white gold. De Leoni works in 10k, 14k and 18k gold, with platinum on request. Each setting has its own available options, which we will confirm with you before production.
Gold karat describes the metal's gold content; diamond carat describes the stone's weight. If you are deciding between metals, tell us how you plan to wear your ring and the finish you love. We will help you choose with everyday wear in mind.
Made to order
Allow time for the details
Each ring is made to order. Production typically takes approximately four to six weeks once your order is confirmed, with design and stone selection agreed beforehand. If you have a proposal date in mind, share it at the beginning so we can discuss timing before you commit. Delivery time is additional to production.

From the atelier to your door
We work with clients across Australia's cities and regional towns through virtual consultations. Your finished engagement ring is sent fully insured by a trusted courier, using an express service within Australia and requiring a signature on arrival. Shipping costs are based on destination and value.
